Read what a run cost
What a run cost — an estimate at the model vendor's dated list price for runs on your own key, with a daily cap — not a bill.
Cost in Kortecx is an estimate, with a daily cap — not a bill.
What the managed service gives you is a number you can act on: for a run on your own model key, the tokens the vendor reported, priced at its list price as of a stated day.
Read a run's cost
Open the run in the console. Under its status row, one line gives the cost:
- the amount, an estimate in the summary's own terms;
- the model whose rate priced it;
- the day that rate was read from the vendor's price list.
The model and the day sit beside the amount because the number is priced from a list, never read from the vendor's bill. A run that nothing priced has no cost line at all, rather than a zero. When the amount is not yours to read, the line says who can read it instead.
What gets counted
Two counters, both recorded as the run happened:
- turns — how many times a model was asked to think.
- tool calls — how many times the run reached out to do something.
There is no input-token figure, so none is shown, and nothing is invented in its place.
Stop a run that costs too much
An estimate does not stop anything by itself. If you need a run to stop, stop it, or gate its irreversible steps with approvals.
